Loved my experience at Coach Gabbie’s women’s lifting class! The class was fun, educational and very welcoming. Coach Gabbie was thorough in explaining proper form and guiding us into it. A great introduction for someone new to lifting! The gym is clean and bright - a great place to work out!

The best gym around! Training with nick has been amazing! I play basketball and nick has provided me with the proper training to help me on the court. Christian Gears

Assistant Coach

Christian Gears is assistant coach at NF Sports Strength. Christian is passionate about helping others succeed and is a natural teacher. His friendly and professional personality makes him very easy to work with and bring the best out of you.

Christian loves to workout, fish and all things Philadelphia sports.

Fun fact about Christian is he is one of Coach Nick’s first college members at the gym in 2021 Now turned coach, Christian is proud to represent the NFSS brand.

Why did you get into personal training?

To help people! I want people to see the potential in them that I see!

What do you love about NF Sports Strength?

The members and community is amazing! Thy are all so supportive of one another. Our staff is very versatile and definitely a pleasure to work with. We all want the best for each other!

Nick Ferdinand is owner and Head Coach of NF SPORTS STRENGTH. Nick is passionate about all things fitness, hiking, and personal development. At any time, you can catch Nick Training for some type of challenge or experimenting with a new diet or lifestyle. Nick loves to Read, cook food at home and spend time with his friends and family.

Fun Fact about Nick is he is a former professional baseball player for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Level 3 Crossfit Instructor (CCFT), OPT (optimal performance training) program design and assessment, Crossfit anatomy course, FMS level 1 (functional movement screening).
