Get a quick win to build momentum

Beeeeep. Beeeeeep. Beeeeeeep.
I laugh to myself, “im not waking up”. I go back to sleep with the alarm beeping for the next 20 minutes.
I doze off into another dream about getting up for the day and turning off the alarm clock but then I realize the alarm is still going off.
I wake up in a panic. It’s been going off for the last 20 minutes. “Oh shit im late for work”. I roll out of bed onto the floor. I do my best impression of a split squat. And scurry over to the bathroom.
I blast the hot shower, brush my teeth and finish with cold rinse off and imagine I’m Chris Farley in the movie Tommy boy screaming “i’m a maniac, maniac”. I turn the cold shower off and quickly get changed.
I go to the kitchen, open up the fridge and grab my pre-made protein shake that I prepared the night before.
