We all have been there. That feeling of laziness takes over and you don’t want to exercise. You know it will be good for you but you just can’t muster up the desire to do it. So you push it off and the excuses of “I deserve an off day” or “I have been working hard so I deserve to take it easy”.
This is a pivotal moment in having your exercise habit stick. This is exactly when you must double down and do the workout anyway.
Here are two tips that help me get through it:
Tip # 1 – Set a timer. Setting a timer for your workout gives you a clear start and end time. This gives you structure that you desperately need right now.
Tip #2 – Write down your workout. before starting your workout simply write down what you are going to do. This again gives you the structure that you need. Next is just do what you said you were going to do.
