How to make the EXERCISE HABIT a Non-Negotiable

#1 –
SCHEDULE on a WEEKLY BASIS

*What you do on a weekly basis is a directly reflection of what you prioritize in your life

*You can be flexible with the day each week if there are scheduling conflicts but remember you increase your likelihood of sticking with the habit when you get into a routine and stick with the same day and time each week.


#2 –
PAY Ahead of time

*Have some skin in the game by talking with your dollar.

*How you spend your money is great indicator on what you prioritize in your life.

* Follow the dollar and see where you are spending the most money.


#3 –
TRACK your Progress & DON’T BREAK THE CHAIN

*This is a game changer in keeping your momentum alive because when you mark off the days each week and you see the small progress each week after 10-12 weeks it will feel good to see.


#4 –
REPORT to someone

*Accountability is a must for all of us. WHen you are held accountable to someone you are more likely to follow through because there is a public shame factor. This is where we can use shame to our advantage.


#5 –
WILL POWER is OVERRATED

*Many of us think we WILL ourselves to do anything and maybe you can but if you’re like me, a human being who has faults, falls into and out of temptations and makes mistakes over and over then setting your environment up for success is the key. When in doubt don’t trust your WIll Power to win , trust setting your surroundings up for success, and following the above list to help you push through the rough waters of staying on course of your habit.
