Do you have a POWER BREAKFAST ROUTINE ?

Do you have a breakfast routine that is going to set you up to win each day? What you put into your mouth first in the morning can really impact your eating the rest of the day. This is something to be mindful of because if we can get the breakfast routine on the right track than it will make eating for the rest of the day that much easier. If things are easier than we will mostly likely do them consistently. And that’s the name of the game. And the game we are playing is making healthy eating habits effortless.
How do you make healthy eating habits effortless?
It all starts with the FIRST pieces of FOOD or drink you put into your mouth each day. If we can focus on this first meal than you will be more likely to eat another healthy meal and another. But the KEY is finding YOUR Superfood Breakfast. This would look like foods you like to eat, look forward to eating and that leave you feeling full and energized. For some people it may be 2 eggs, bacon, collard greens and ezekiel bread. For others it may be a simple protein shake or maybe it’s oatmeal with honey, walnuts and an egg. It can vary. But there are some keys to consider to your breakfast routine.
Power Breakfast Keys
Key # 1 – Drink 20oz of water. Drinking water first thing in the morning will rehydrate you.
Key # 2 – Eat Fresh Whole Foods. Opt for Fresh Whole foods over processed foods, protein bars or package foods. Fresh Foods could also be leftovers from the night before but fresh foods typically don’t last more than 2-3 days in the refrigerator.
Key # 3 – Eat Balance of Protein, Carbs, Fats
Key #4 – Eat the same meal each morning. Once you identify your Power breakfast. REPEAT it.
