Sometimes life throws curve balls at you… sometimes life throws a monkey riding a dog ����

What’s your strategy to deal with adversity? When things don’t go your way?
If you’re like me by DEFAULT I tend to COMPLAIN, WHINE & BLAME OTHERS for what’s happening. This strategy always leaves me feeling empty because it doesn’t solve the problem It temporarily feels like it does but after that feeling goes away I’m left with the same problem and the same emotions keep coming up.
The STRATEGY my coach is challenging me to use is called COGNITIVE RE-FRAMING.
“is a technique used to shift your mindset so your able to look at a situation, person, or relationship from a slightly different perspective”
Instead of immediately reacting to a scenario that’s happening to you pause and use this strategy of re-framing. Ask yourself
〰️Why am I reacting this way?
〰️What’s the benefit of me reacting this way?
〰️Who am I trying to protect? My ego? My pride? My reputation?
〰️ Where is this feeling coming from anger/,fear or love?
You be surprised if you challenge yourself with some of these questions above how effective they can be in the moment…
